Returning for its 8th year, Music in Lydekker is back on Saturday 22nd August 2026, from 12pm–4pm in the beautiful surroundings of Lydekker Park.

Join us for a relaxing summer afternoon filled with fantastic live music in one of Harpenden's most picturesque green spaces. This much-loved community event is completely free to attend, making it the perfect day out for friends, families and music lovers of all ages. Bring a picnic blanket or your own chair, find a spot on the grass and enjoy the music in comfort. A limited number of deckchairs will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year's live performances feature two fantastic acts. Threefold, a popular local semi-acoustic covers trio, will perform a mix of classic and contemporary favourites with their signature three-part harmonies. Joining them are The Blue Moon Duo, bringing timeless classics, heartfelt Americana originals and soulful trumpet accompaniment to create a warm, feel-good atmosphere with plenty of audience interaction.

Guests can also enjoy a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments from the on-site bar, along with delicious freshly prepared pizzas from our dedicated pizza stall.

Music in Lydekker is free to attend and no booking is required. As parking at Lydekker Car Park is limited, visitors are encouraged to walk to the event where possible.
