Harpenden Intergenerational Singing

Harpenden Intergenerational Singing Group meets every Tuesday during school term time from 12.45pm  to 1.30pm  at The Salvation Army in Leyton Green.
Music has the power to lift our spirits. It can make us feel happy, connect us to memories, give us confidence and reduce anxiety. The Intergenerational Singing Group was set up to provide a place to join friends, have fun, enjoy singing and experience the benefits of mixing with people of all ages. This is an inclusive choir and we offer a special invitation to people living with dementia and their carers.
The Intergenerational Singing Group is a collaboration between The Salvation Army, Clover Singing Club, Sir John Lawes School and the Harpenden Trust. Students from Sir John Lawes School and members of the Clover Singing Club join in with singing each week.
