Harpenden’s biggest photography exhibition returns!

HARPENDEN. 16th January 2023. Harpenden Photographic Society (HPS) is pleased to announce the return of its annual Photographic Print Exhibition, which will take place this year on Saturday 22nd April 2023 at High Street Methodist Church, Harpenden.

One of the cultural highlights of Hertfordshire’s events calendar, Harpenden Photographic Society warmly welcomes all to visit this year's photographic print exhibition,  which is taking place physically for the first time since 2019. Featuring inspirational work from many local photographers, with images including landscapes, portrait, macro, street, abstracts and the natural world.  There’s something for all tastes in this exhibition, with numerous award-winning images on display.

Harpenden Photographic Society Chair, Steve Collins LRPS BPE3, comments:

“We’re delighted to be bringing back a physical print exhibition in 2023, after three years of being online only, and I am extremely excited that HPS will be showcasing some of the finest images from our talented members in this amazing collection of prints. As wonderful as images can look online, nothing beats the beauty of seeing fabulous photographic images that have been printed.  Our exhibition is completely free to attend and suitable for the whole family”.

Harpenden Photographic Society is always keen to welcome new members, so if you are interested in joining the society, friendly HPS members will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you might have about membership.

The HPS Photographic Print Exhibition 2023 takes place, for one day only, on Saturday 22nd April at High Street Methodist Church, Harpenden, AL5 2RU, from 10am till 4.30pm.

 About Harpenden Photographic Society

Now in its 87th year, Harpenden Photographic Society caters for all abilities – from beginner to the more advanced photographer. We are a lively and growing club of around 70 active members. Meetings are held from September to June on the first and third Tuesday of each month.

Our varied programme gives members the chance to enjoy and improve their own photography, and to mix and chat with other likeminded enthusiasts. Regular visiting speakers allow members the opportunity to learn and be inspired by the many different styles and genres.
