Farmers' Market
Hosted and managed by Harpenden Town Council, Harpenden’s Farmers' Market takes place on the fourth Sunday of each month from 10am to 2pm (except December which is the third).
The Market accommodates approximately 70 stalls offering a wide range of produce including: meats, pies, fish, preserves, pickles, jams, honey, cheeses, fruit, vegetables, flowers and plants, fresh bread, cakes and pastries, eggs, beer, wine and liqueurs.
The Farmers’ Market will be open on the following dates in 2023:

- 26th February
- 26th March
- Sunday 23rd April*
- Sunday 28th May
- Sunday 25th June
- Sunday 23rd July*
- Sunday 27th August
- Sunday 24th September
- Sunday 22nd October*
- Sunday 26th November (12-6pm as part of the Christmas Carnival)
- Sunday 17th December
(*Held on the fourth Sunday, not the last Sunday, of the month)
The December Market will be held on the third Sunday of the month in order to not fall in between the Christmas period.

Sustainability Market
This Market is organised in partnership by Sustainable St Albans and Harpenden Town Council and features a wide range of eco and food stalls including eco essentials, greener gifts stalls, sustainable self-care stalls, hot and cold takeaway vegan food and vegan food products stalls, sustainable textile goods stalls, electric bikes, recycled bikes and bike accessories stalls, environmental charity and community group stalls. This increasingly popular Market will return to Harpenden Common on the following dates:

- Sunday 17th September
- Sunday 19th November
