The Harpenden Sustainablity Market is organised in partnership by Sustainable St Albans and Harpenden Town Council and features a wide range of eco and food stalls including eco essentials, greener gifts stalls, sustainable self-care stalls, hot and cold takeaway vegan food and vegan food products stalls, sustainable textile goods stalls, electric bikes, recycled bikes and bike accessories stalls, environmental charity and community group stalls.

This market has grown from strength to strength and includes a fantastic variety of quality goods helping to live more sustainably. The Market will be open on the following dates on Harpenden Common:

Sunday 17th March

Sunday 19th May

Sunday 21st July

Saturday 14th September, from 12-6pm along side the Harpenden Food and Drink Festival

Sunday 17th November

Community Grant Awarded to much-loved Hedgehog Sanctuary

Harpenden Town Council was delighted to recently award a Community Grant to Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary, a charity which rehabilitates wild hedgehogs and orphaned baby hoglets that are sick, injured, or underweight.

Memory Lane Cafe - new activities announced this Autumn

A new Memory Lane Cafe schedule of activities has been announced for this Autumn. The Harpenden Memory Lane Café is open every Monday from 2-3.30pm at The Salvation Army on Leyton Green in Harpenden.
