We wish to welcome individuals and families who are seeking safety in Harpenden and make sure we do what we can to support you.

Harpenden Cares is a partnership of local organisations who wish to combine efforts to ensure that Ukrainian people living in Harpenden, and their hosts, are well supported and have access to essential services and opportunities that have been made available in response to this crises.

Mayor Chooses Her Nominated Charities

Cllr Beth Fisher, Town Mayor of Harpenden for 2025/26, has chosen her two nominated charities for her Mayoral year: The Hertfordshire Domestic Abuse Helpline (HDAH) and The King’s Pantry Foodbank, which reflect her theme of ‘Helping People Through Tough Times’.
