The Mayor's Charity events


Each year the Mayor chooses two charities to support during the Mayoral year with fundraising events and promotion.

For 2025/26 the Mayor has chosen the charities The Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline and The King's Pantry Foodbank.  More information on these charities can be found on the Town Mayor's page here.

Throughout the Mayoral year, many fundraising events are held, you can read more about these below and in our Online Calendar.

Mayor Chooses Her Nominated Charities

Cllr Beth Fisher, Town Mayor of Harpenden for 2025/26, has chosen her two nominated charities for her Mayoral year: The Hertfordshire Domestic Abuse Helpline (HDAH) and The King’s Pantry Foodbank, which reflect her theme of ‘Helping People Through Tough Times’.
