THANKING HARPENDEN LITTER HEROES

We would like to send a special thanks our Harpenden Town Council Litter Hero volunteers who do such amazing work helping to keep Harpenden’s green spaces clear of litter. This summer’s warm weather increased the number of visitors to our green spaces and therefore increased the resultant litter. Our Litter Heroes have been tirelessly litter picking across our parks and nature areas, making a huge difference to residents and wildlife.

Litter Heroes are volunteers who work in locations and at times that suit them. They receive a pack with a branded hi viz, litter pick stick, gloves, rubbish bags and stickers to label those bags then go out litter picking when they wish.  All contributions of time are welcome, from doing occasional litter picks in a park near you, to picking up litter during your daily dog walk.
